And on the flip side how companies take earned media and turn it into paid media, which can sometimes be the most affective. An example would be a major viral video that might contain a product in it and the company ends up using that viral video with their product in it and turning it into a commercial. These wind up being some of the most popular and effective.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08534753438992152934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3718017972019115462.post-41405839573773380632014-09-18T19:39:21.735-07:002014-09-18T19:39:21.735-07:00Great article. It is shocking that these ecommerce businesses as well as brick and mortar companies that have online sales also, don't realize the sales potential they have if they recoup even a reasonable number of these sales. Its even more shocking that they don't have this information and you do and they have not hired you to help them recoup some of this lost revenue. Again, great article.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08534753438992152934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3718017972019115462.post-46062250873796077052014-07-29T05:41:31.702-07:002014-07-29T05:41:31.702-07:00Thank you for sharing the information.

As a result of aging systems, M&A and disparate systems, they lack agility. The disruption will come as a surprise when banks cannot meet consumer expectations for fast, accurate, personalized transactions. Bankers assume the disruption will not happen due to the highly regulated nature of the industry. The change has already started with Bitcoin providing a platform for frictionless transactions, Kickstarter providing alternatives to small business loans, and products like Mint making it easier to avoid accessing a banks branded website. The bank is becoming invisible an non-differentiating.<br />The good news is there is some time if banks have the vision and capital to invest in technology. Banks need to see themselves as technology companies where customer data is there currency. They need to shift from "How do I increase Share of wallet?" to "How do I turn my customers into advocates?". As a banking customer myself, I believe the disruption is way overdue. I expect a much better banking experience. I think whole departments could be created on the subject of finding advocates in the right places at the right times. Abundance of information affects brands too. Not only are there consumers getting lost, but where do brands find the right advocates in the right places? There are so many social websites and review sites. It would be neat to figure out how to determine what is the right move without wasting time and money.
